Fotograf Kurt Hielscher sa narodil 7. januára 1881 a predtým, ako v štyridsiatom ôsmom minulého storočia zomrel, stihol vydať niekoľko fotografických kníh. Za svojho života sa mu podarilo pofotiť veľkú časť sveta. Začal Juhosláviou, pokračoval v Španielsku a na sklonku svojej kariéry mal pobehanú už takmer celú Európu.
Jeho knihy zožali úspech a po viac ako sto rokoch sa dostali do rúk jednému zo súčasných fotografov Casperovi Molenaarovi. Povedať, že ho inšpirovali, asi nebude dosť výstižné. Casper sa rozhodol sledovať stopy svojho predchodcu a fotiť rovnaké miesta, ktoré on zachytil o desiatky rokov skôr. Ako veľmi sa zmenili? Ostali niektoré miesta celkom rovnaké? Na všetky tieto otázky nájdeš odpovede v jeho tvorbe.
